(Reuters) - Between 550,000 and 1.4 million people in West Africa could be infected with the Ebola virus by January 20, 2015, according to a study published on Tuesday by researchers at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi retired two senior generals on Tuesday as part of an overhaul of the country's armed forces, which collapsed this summer in the face of Islamic State insurgents who seized wide areas of northern andwestern Iraq.
